FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to know how to sail to get a pass?
To rent a sailboat you do need to know how to sail and our standard proecedure for renting sailboats is in effect.

Will you be offering season passes for paddling?
Unfortunately, no. However, all season passes do also include usage of paddlecraft in accordance with the product descriptions below.

Why are the passes priced this way?
Pass holder rentals will be restricted based on the phase and the availability of boats; Therefore the 2021 pass pricing structure is in accordance with available hours of rentals in comparison to prior years.

For Phases 1 and 2, reservations will be required for all rentals. For Phase 3 and beyond, reservations will only be required for keelboats.

Are there limitations to how many rental reservations I can make?
For Phase 1, we are allowing one 2-hour reservation block per weekend, per pass holder. This ensures adequate boat availability for all of our renters. However, if you wish to remain on the water, you may check in with us after two hours to see if there is anybody waiting for your boat. For Phases 2 and 3 this restriction will be lifted.

How many passes will be sold?
We will have a limited quantity of passes initially available for purchase. Additional passes may become available at the discretion of the CSC based on safety, staff, and fleet availability. A waitlist will be created in this instance.
